Join world-renowned engineer, inventor, Paralympian, and rehabilitation pioneer Dr. Rory Cooper together with Marina Davtyan, Founder of Connectra, for an inspiring conversation on innovation, adaptive sports, entrepreneurship, and the future of human mobility. Discover how engineering can empower people, transform healthcare, and redefine what is possible. ​Armenia is preparing to host the first wheelchair rugby tournament in its history. This is not an ordinary adaptive sports event, it is an initiative of international significance that directly connects Armenia to the global Paralympic movement and to cutting-edge technology. ​The project is being carried out in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh's Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the US company Connectra Care, and the Armenian company ArmBionics, using the innovative Kirigami-principle rugby wheelchairs developed by HERL. The initiative has already secured the support of the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, and American Councils. ​Rory A. Cooper ​Rory A.
